Bad Experience with Tow Truck Company
Kyle T. had a terrible experience with a tow truck company after his car broke down. His car wouldn't start, so he had to call a tow truck company to get help. The company quoted him $135 to tow his car from Rancho Bernardo to Poway, but when the driver arrived, he was only able to jump-start the car. Despite this, the driver still wanted to charge Kyle the full $135, regardless of whether or not he needed a tow.
The driver then asked Kyle if he had cash, but when he said no, the driver asked him to run to the bank to get money out. Kyle refused, citing his newborn child and the fact that he already had to deal with having his car break down. He felt that the driver was being unreasonable and taking advantage of him in a vulnerable situation.
