Our History
Al's Towing was founded by Alton Youngstrand in 1947, after he returned from serving in World War II. Initially, the business was based at the corner of Grand and Juniper streets in Escondido, where Al operated an Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) service station and a towing company to service the Auto Club (AAA) and local clients. Over the years, Al decided to concentrate on the towing side of the business and closed down the Arco Station. The business moved to its current location in 1967, where it has continued to thrive. In 1998, Al retired at the age of 81, and the new owner, Mr. Park, transformed the company into a full-service towing and roadside service company.
Our Services
Today, Al's Towing operates a fleet of eight trucks, capable of transporting vehicles of all sizes, from motorcycles to tractor-trailers. Our services include towing and transportation, roadside assistance, recovery services, impound services, and storage services. We also conduct monthly auto auctions, offering affordable vehicles to the public. Our team of experts is dedicated to providing the best service possible, with ongoing training and the latest equipment to ensure our customers receive the highest level of care.
