Patient Experiences with Dr. Erin Heneghan and Her Dental Office
Xiaomin W. and Philis H. both shared their negative experiences with Dr. Erin Heneghan and her dental office. Despite having different situations, both patients were left feeling dissatisfied and even harmed as a result.
Failures in Diagnosis and Treatment
Xiaomin W.'s experience started with a failed filling that caused persistent pain. Despite returning to the office three times, Dr. Heneghan did not properly diagnose the issue and instead continued to cause further damage to Xiaomin's tooth structure without their consent. This led to serious oral health issues, including misalignment of the jaw and symptoms of TMD (temporomandibular joint disorder).
Poor Customer Service
Philis H. had been a patient at the office for several years but was left feeling frustrated with the way they were treated. They were taken late to their appointment by a replacement hygienist and then told that their regular dentist was no longer available. When they asked to reschedule, they were told that someone would call back, but they received a letter instead informing them that they should not return to the office. Philis felt that they should have been given the opportunity to choose whether to see someone else or reschedule with their regular dentist.
