Our journey began with Lori Burne, MS, SE, who started her career as a bridge engineer in private industry. After eight years, she shifted her focus to commercial and residential building structures and opened Burne Engineering. Her reputation for quick response and high-quality work ethic built a loyal client base of engineers, architects, designers, and contractors. Over a few short years, Lori transformed Burne into a thriving business that employs more than a dozen engineers, drafters, and support staff.
