Our company was founded in 1984 by Harvey R. Chapman, with the primary goal of providing engineering services to federal, state, municipal, and private industry clients. Since our establishment, we have grown to achieve an outstanding reputation for our commitment to excellence and have received numerous awards for our work.

In 2013, Chapman Technical Group was acquired by the Lexington, Kentucky-based A/E firm, GRW. This acquisition has allowed us to expand our services and offer the expertise of over 250 professionals in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee. Our offices in St. Albans and Buckhannon, West Virginia, serve as our main bases of operation, and we are committed to delivering top-notch services to clients across the region.
