With a family background in steel erection, Tammy St. Clair was introduced to construction and design concepts from a young age. This led her to pursue a career in civil engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with structural engineering and construction management emphases from the University of Tennessee. Throughout her career, Tammy has worked in private industry as a design engineer, construction manager, and engineering assessment specialist, conducting thousands of assessments ranging from limited damage to a residence to total loss of an industrial facility.
