Meet the Team
Our team of talented and dedicated professionals are passionate about providing the best HVAC service to our clients. We have 44 full-time employees, each with their own unique skills and experiences. Our team includes a diverse group of individuals, from service managers and sales and marketing professionals, to accounts payable and HR managers.
Our President, Brian McLaughlin, is dedicated to ensuring that our clients receive the best service possible. With his leadership, we have been able to grow our business and establish ourselves as a reliable and trustworthy HVAC service contractor.
Scott Stafford, our Service Manager for NC, has been with Redblue for 18 years and has 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He is a Charlotte native and lives in Mint Hill with his daughter Olivia and their Yorkie-Poo, LuLu.
Melanie Jones, our Accounts Payable & HR Manager, has been with Redblue since 1996 and has held a variety of roles including dispatcher, A/R, and now A/P and HR Manager. She grew up in Colorado and loves to travel, with Italy being her favorite vacation destination.
Brad Mattson, our VP of Sales & Marketing, has been with Redblue since 2013 and has been in the HVAC industry since 2003. He is a native of Pennsylvania and has an undergrad degree from Wake Forest and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Brad lives in South Charlotte with his wife, Susan, and their two children, Molly and Andrew.
Wayne Lassiter, our Service Manager for the TRIAD, joined the Redblue team in January of 2012. He has been in the HVAC industry for 28 years in a variety of roles, including technician, installer, service manager, and field sales.

Our team of field experts are available to inspect and service your HVAC equipment on a scheduled basis throughout the year. This includes preventative maintenance programs that keep warranties intact and provide significant ongoing electricity, repair, and replacement savings.
Our highly experienced technicians are also available 24/7/365 to diagnose and repair commercial/industrial HVAC systems. They bear the elements and work tirelessly until your equipment is back up and running. Your comfort is our top priority.
Additionally, we offer building automation systems to help you manage your HVAC systems more efficiently. With these systems, you can create operating schedules to save electricity and minimize system wear & tear, receive alarms so issues can be identified quickly and severity of repairs can be minimized, and increase comfort and productivity with site-wide temperature control.
Finally, we offer equipment replacement services when the time comes to replace and/or upgrade your HVAC systems. We will help you identify the most efficient and cost-effective solution for your heating and cooling needs.
History and Growth
Since our establishment in 1993, Redblue has grown our business by providing thorough, honest, and fairly-priced mechanical maintenance services for our commercial and industrial clients. We have successfully expanded our business to serve the Carolinas, with our main office located in Charlotte, NC, and our Upstate SC office located in Spartanburg, SC.
We are not aligned with a specific OEM and we don't have a new construction department. Instead, we have successfully grown our business by providing thorough, honest, and fairly-priced mechanical maintenance services for our commercial and industrial clients. Our success is attributed to our focus on listening to our clients and being responsive to your needs in the most cost-effective, professional, and timely manner.
