Ms Babs' Little Nursery School

Ms. Babs' Nursery School is a unique daycare center located in the heart of Richmond's historical Fan District, offering full-day care for infants 3-months-old to pre-schoolers in a home-like environment with an exceptional attentive and caring staff. Our goal is to provide a nurturing atmosphere where children can grow and develop into happy, confident, and well-rounded individuals.

Our Programs

Our programs are designed to allow each child the opportunity to express themselves. From playing sports to creating sculptures, performing plays, or choreographing dance routines, our activities are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. We also provide teacher-led activities and special events that celebrate various cultures and personal differences. Our programs include:

• Joeys (3-16 months): individualized care and attention, art and sensory activities, and outdoor play
• Caterpillars (16 months - 2 years): learning to use words, positive interactions, and outdoor play
• Bumblebee's (2-3 years): potty training, self-expression, and hands-on activities
• June Bugs (3-4 years): self-awareness, classroom jobs, and interactive learning
• Crickets (Pre-K, 4-5 years): kindergarten readiness, hands-on learning, and field trips

Our Activities

Our daily activities are designed to be engaging, interactive, and most importantly, fun! From singing about the weather to painting pictures that will turn into rainbows, we believe that play is an essential part of the learning process. We also celebrate special occasions and cultural events, and provide opportunities for children to participate in community service activities.
