Windhover Center For The Performing Arts

Windhover, a performing arts center, has been a cornerstone of the Cape Ann community for over 50 years, providing a platform for the arts to breathe, grow, and inspire. Our mission is to create and nurture community through the sharing of the arts, offering a wide range of services including public performances, classes, workshops, yoga and meditation retreats, and opportunities for community conversations on issues that matter.

Our Campus

Our beautiful campus is designed to inspire creativity and reflection, featuring two dance studios, a theater, and expansive gardens perfect for yoga and meditation. The rich history of our location is palpable, making it the perfect setting for artists and community members alike to come together and explore the beauty of the arts.

Performances

Our performances are held not only on our outdoor stage but also at various locations throughout Cape Ann, including the local quarries, offering a unique and immersive experience for our audiences. We invite you to join us for an evening of music, dance, or theater, and to enjoy the Windhover campus before the show. Our performances are rain or shine, so feel free to bring a picnic and make a day of it.

Volunteering

Windhover has always been reliant on the hard work and dedication of our volunteers to keep our programs running smoothly and ticket costs affordable. This year, we are excited to announce the expansion of our volunteer program, offering more opportunities for community members to get involved and be a part of our team.
