Discover the art of unique living at Sienna Blue Co
At Freedom Park Preschool, we are a community of learners who believe that children are natural explorers and collaborators with innate creative abilities. Since 1982, we have been providing a loving and nurturing environment for the children of the neighboring communities. Our approach is influenced by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, which are renowned worldwide for their high-quality educational programs for young children.
Our Educational Philosophy
We believe in the importance of purposeful play and its role in cultivating independent thinking, problem-solving skills, and complex thought. Our educational practice is centered around the idea that children are co-learners with their educators, and our teachers are committed to creating an environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
Learning through Experience
At Freedom Park Preschool, we believe that learning is an organic and natural process for children. Our language learning strategy is based on the idea that language learning is an organic process, and our teachers communicate in the target language to facilitate this process. We also use strategies such as memorization of songs and interactive learning through stories and games to guide each child in second language learning.
Our Educational Program
Our educational program is designed to foster a love of learning and a sense of community. Our educators are trained to recognize and respond to the unique needs and interests of each child, and our classrooms are designed to promote exploration, creativity, and collaboration. We believe that the learning environment is itself a teacher, and our physical space is designed to welcome children and adults, foster encounters with learning materials, and encourage communication.
Our Educators
Our educators are carefully selected for their experience and education in early childhood education, and they are committed to creating a loving and caring approach to young children. Our teachers pursue ongoing professional development and collaborate with resource educators to offer a variety of rich and inspiring experiences that provoke new ideas and interests.
Our Environment
Our learning environment is designed to be inviting, sensory-rich, and beautiful, and we make deliberate choices to slow down and support uninterrupted play. We believe that the physical space is an extension of the learning experience, and we strive to create an environment that values the children who inhabit it.
