Our History

Palmetto Custom Printing & Graphics, LLC, has been serving the Charleston community and beyond for over four decades. Founded in 1981 by Clemmie C. Rourk, Jr., the company began modestly, operating out of a small room in Clemmie's first residence. Driven by his passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, Clemmie nurtured the business, eventually relocating it to a storefront in the Wespanee Shopping Center. Over time, Clemmie's reputation as a master printer within the print-for-profit industry grew, spreading far beyond the Charleston area. His dedication to quality, paired with astute business acumen, made him a legend in the printing world.

As industry landscapes evolved and Clemmie wished to pursue retirement, he saw an opportunity to pass the torch to the next generation of printing entrepreneurs. Gerald Blake and Henry Frazier, two ambitious and talented individuals, stepped forward, acquiring Palmetto Custom Printing & Graphics. While new to the world of print, they were eager to uphold the legacy built by Clemmie and contribute their own vision to the company's future. This transition marked a new chapter, one that embraced a fresh perspective and a desire to expand the company's reach.

The company's relocation to its current location at 1686 Old Towne Road in the Northbridge Shopping Center reflected this renewed direction. Nestled among a vibrant mix of restaurants, shops, and businesses, Palmetto Custom Printing & Graphics has seamlessly integrated into the bustling community, while maintaining its dedication to delivering exceptional quality and service.
