Where the Customer and Quality Are #1

We are the Engineers' Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP), a dynamic organization with a proud history dating back to 1880. Our mission is to advance the engineering profession and position Western Pennsylvania as a center for Engineering Excellence and Innovation. With over 400 member firms, we represent a diverse range of professionals from various industries, including engineering, architecture, and applied sciences.

Why Become a Member?

Our memberships offer a variety of benefits, including networking opportunities, access to exclusive events, and professional development programs. Whether you are an individual or a business, an engineer, student, or other professional, we have a membership option that suits your needs. Our individual memberships include Regular and Associate memberships, which cater to professionals with a technical degree and those from other industries, respectively. We also offer Dining memberships, which are perfect for Downtown workers with no monthly minimums. For businesses, we have Corporate memberships available in three sizes to suit your promotional needs.

Our Strategic Initiatives

To further our mission, we have several strategic initiatives in place. We promote the ESWP and position the society for success, raise awareness and grow membership, increase the use of the Engineers' Club, develop and distribute exceptional publications, provide world-class professional development, deploy exceptional conferences, and offer educational and networking events highlighting innovative technologies and industry best practices. We also focus on providing professional outreach and services to Affiliated Technical Societies, developing and supporting future engineers, and mobilizing our young members.

Diversity and Inclusion Statement

At ESWP, we are committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. We believe that our collective differences are the foundation of our organization's achievement and reputation. Our diversity initiatives cover recruitment and selection, professional development, social programs, and ongoing development of the society.
