Our History
The firm began in 1926. George W. Butler and his brother Donnie, owners of Butler Furniture Company in downtown Roseboro, formed a partnership with Mr. L. M. White. The new funeral service business was called White and Butler. The business was headquartered in Roseboro, NC, with the intention of providing distinctive funeral services to the local community. Over the years, the business has continued to grow and evolve, remaining committed to its core values of dignity, compassion, and service excellence. Today, Butler Funeral Home, Inc. is an independent, privately-owned business, proudly serving families across Roseboro and Stedman.
