Children's Enrichment Center

The Children's Enrichment Center (CEC) is a Christ-centered preschool located in The First United Methodist Church of Jupiter-Tequesta. We are a ministry of the church, and our dedicated staff is committed to providing a loving and nurturing environment for your children. We understand the importance of your children's safety and well-being, and we strive to make CEC a second home for your family.

Our operating hours are from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer 3, 4, or 5-day programs to accommodate your family's schedule. If you have any questions about our school, please direct them to CEC@jupitermethodist.org.

Our Programs

We offer various programs to meet the needs of your family. Our programs include:

• 2-Year-Old Program: Our 2-year-old program focuses on socialization, language development, and sensory experiences. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child to grow and learn.
• 3-Year-Old Program: Our 3-year-old program builds on the skills learned in the 2-year-old program. We focus on developing social skills, independence, and a love for learning.
• Pre-K 4's Program: Our Pre-K 4's program prepares your child for kindergarten. We focus on developing academic skills, such as letter recognition, numbers, and shapes. We also emphasize social and emotional development, such as conflict resolution and self-regulation.
• After School Enhancements: We offer after-school enhancements to provide your child with additional learning opportunities. Our enhancements include Music and Movement, Culinary Arts, and Spanish classes.
• Summer Camp: Our summer camp provides your child with a fun and engaging experience during the summer months. We offer various activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, and field trips.

Our Staff

Our staff is the heart of CEC. We are blessed to have 14 talented and dedicated staff members who work together to create a loving, safe, and nurturing environment for your children. We strive to make CEC feel like a second home for your family.

Our administration team includes Mrs. Sawyer, who handles the financial and office operations, and Mrs. Reed, who ensures our staff and students are loved and nurtured in a friendly and welcoming school setting. Mrs. Reed also teaches Bible lessons, music and movement classes, and culinary arts class. She oversees all staff and training, curriculum, school events, and our partnership with the church as our Director of Children's Ministries (Nursery-5th grade).

Enrollment and Fees

Our registration period for the 2024-2025 school year is officially open for in-house families on January 16, 2024. We will fill in remaining spots from our waitlist. We are a small, non-profit preschool with limited space and must abide by state regulations for enrollment. If you do not receive a call, it simply means we are at license capacity. You will remain on the waitlist in case of changes to our roster before the start of school in the fall. If any changes occur to our enrollment between now and the start of the school year, we will fill in available spots off our current waitlist. We will contact families from our waitlist at that time.
