At 'For Kids Only' Child Care Center, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop. Our mission is to foster growth in the emotional, physical, cognitive, social, and lingual areas of development, as well as creative and cultural areas. We believe that childhood is a time of discovery and learning, and our experienced staff are committed to making this journey fun and exciting for every child.

Our Environment

Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide a safe and engaging space for children to explore and learn. Our infant and toddler rooms are self-contained, while our preschool and school-age space is set up with interest areas that are divided between available areas. This setup allows children to rotate through the areas, providing them with exposure to all interests each day. Our classrooms are equipped with a variety of equipment and materials, including creative arts and crafts, construction, dramatic play, manipulative, math and science, auditory and visual language, music, and large muscle activity.

Our Child Care Lesson Plans

Our lesson plans are carefully formulated to include quiet time, active time, teacher-directed studies, and child-initiated activities. We believe in providing a balance of activities that cater to the individual needs of each child. Our schedules and daily lesson plans ensure that children have choices and are able to explore their interests. Each month, we have an overall theme for our curriculum, with several different weekly units for each theme. Our academic focus depends on the age group, and we introduce sign language, Spanish, and some German to enhance communication.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs for children of different ages, from infants to school-age. Our infant program focuses on movement, language, stimulation, emotional security, and social development. Our toddler program focuses on physical movement, language development, cognitive thinking, arts, creative play, and self-esteem. Our high-quality preschool programming focuses on physical development along with a STEAM education approach that uses science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics, along with literacy and communications. Our school-age program combines self-management and emotional awareness to promote independence along with organized sports, group collaboration, and many STEAM opportunities.
