Interfaith CareGivers-Ozaukee

Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County has been empowering seniors and individuals with disabilities to proudly remain independent in their homes for over 30 years. We are a passionate group of volunteers, representing diverse faith backgrounds, united in our commitment to compassionate care and community support.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enable seniors and individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives with dignity and independence in their own homes. We achieve this through a variety of voluntary supportive services tailored to each client's unique needs.

Transportation & Errand Assistance

• Safe and reliable transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Friendly and compassionate companionship during home visits.
• Regular phone calls to combat social isolation and maintain a sense of connection.

Respite & Support

• Short-term respite visits to provide primary caregivers with a well-deserved break.
• Companionship and conversation to combat loneliness and anxiety.
• Assistance with daily tasks like meal preparation, medication reminders, and home organization.

Community Involvement

• Loaning wheelchairs, walkers, and canes at a nominal fee through the Ozaukee H.E.L.P. Corner.
• Active partnerships with local organizations to enhance the quality of life in Ozaukee County.
