Geneseo Marriage & Family Counseling Service

Geneseo Marriage and Family Counseling Services was founded in 1974 with the mission to provide affordable, professional counseling services to anyone in need. We operate out of the First Presbyterian Church in Geneseo, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our services are funded by local foundations and charities. We are dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges.

Counseling Services

We assist in treating a variety of concerns, including couple relationships, family relationships, separation/divorce, family changes, parent and child issues, child behavioral issues, anxiety and depression, domestic violence, anger management, and job-related issues. Our team is here to help, and we encourage you to reach out if you or someone you know is in need.

Fees

Our counseling services are based on a sliding fee scale, taking into consideration the client's household income and number of members in the household. We believe that everyone deserves access to professional help, regardless of their financial situation.

Staff

We employ licensed professional counselors who are highly trained and eager to help. They are all licensed by the state of Illinois and are members of various professional organizations. They adhere to their professional Code of Ethics and follow all HIPAA guidelines regarding confidentiality.
