San Diego Cooperative Preschool

The San Diego Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years old. Our school has been serving the community since 1963, and we are proud of our long history of offering high-quality early childhood education.

Our Philosophy

At San Diego Cooperative Preschool, we believe that play is the foundation for happiness, development, and growth. We provide a play-based learning environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and learn through hands-on activities. Our Program

Our program is designed to foster the whole child, including their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development. Our indoor and outdoor classrooms are designed to spark imagination and encourage creativity, while our experienced teachers guide and support each child's unique learning style.

Our Classrooms

We offer a range of classrooms tailored to meet the needs of children aged 6 months to 5 years old. Our infant classroom follows the RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) philosophy, which emphasizes a nurturing and playful environment. Our toddler classroom focuses on socialization and building strong, positive bonds with our teachers. Our preschool and pre-k classrooms offer a curriculum that includes art, science, cooking, and language development.

Our Staff

Our staff is experienced and highly skilled in early childhood education. They work closely with parents and guardians to ensure that each child receives the individualized attention and support they need to thrive.

Our Community

At San Diego Cooperative Preschool, we believe that the community is an essential part of our school.
