In 1974, Brian Papenhagen founded Blissfield Insurance Agency with a commitment to providing top-notch insurance services to the residents of Michigan. After decades of dedicated service, Brian Papenhagen retired in 2011, and his daughter, JoDee Friess, took over the reins of the business. JoDee, a licensed agent since 1989, is not only a dedicated insurance professional but also an active member of her community. She has served on the Blissfield School Board for 8.5 years and continues to be involved with the Blissfield Rotary Club.

Our team also includes Lianna Taylor, who joined Blissfield Insurance Agency in August 2015. As a licensed agent, Lianna enjoys working closely with clients to identify their insurance needs and find the best solutions. Prior to becoming a licensed agent, Lianna worked in claims and property inspections, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry.

Sarah Smith is our Customer Service Representative and the first person you'll meet when you walk through our doors. Sarah is outgoing and dedicated to helping our clients with their insurance needs.
