Who Are We?
Transparent Hands is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free healthcare services to those who cannot afford it. We are a 501(c)(3) approved organization in the United States and a Trust Organization in Pakistan, registered under the Trust Act 1882 with a Tax Exemption status under article 2(36). Our mission is to provide medical and surgical treatment facilities to deserving patients across Pakistan, and to empower them to live healthy and dignified lives.
Our Story
Transparent Hands was founded with the goal of transforming the lives of underprivileged patients in Pakistan. We recognize that healthcare is a fundamental right, and that everyone deserves access to quality medical care, regardless of their financial situation. We believe that every patient deserves the best possible treatment, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality.
Services Offered
At Transparent Hands, we offer a wide range of services, including:
- Free Medical Camps: We set up free medical camps in rural areas of Pakistan, providing free consultation, free medicines, and free diagnostic tests to deserving patients.
- Surgeries: We perform a variety of surgeries, including orthopedic, cardiac, neurology, gynecology, and other general surgeries, at no cost to our patients.
- Medical Procedures: We provide free medical procedures, including angioplasty, hepatitis C treatment, chemotherapy, MRI, endoscopy, and rehabilitation procedures for the disabled.
- Crowdfunding: Our online fundraising platform allows donors to contribute to specific patient campaigns, ensuring that every penny donated is spent on medical treatment.
How We Work
At Transparent Hands, we believe in transparency and accountability. We upload all hospital bills and other documents for our patients after their surgery is successfully conducted or they undergo complete medical treatment. This way, donors can see exactly how their donation is being used. We also provide regular updates to donors on the progress of the patient they have supported.
Our Impact
Since our inception, we have successfully performed 2,871 surgeries and medical procedures, organized 288 medical camps, and treated over 195,114 patients. We have also raised over $3.77 million and spent it in accordance with Shariah compliance.
