Black Women's Health Podcast stands as a platform dedicated to disrupting the narrative surrounding women's health in the Black community. Founded on the premise that true healing and well-being require a space that celebrates the unique experiences and concerns of Black women, we delve into topics that influence holistic health and inspire personal journeys.

Our podcast features diverse voices - healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, spiritual guides, and everyday women - sharing their knowledge, insights, and personal stories on various health-related issues. We highlight:
- Menopause and Beyond: Exploring the joys and complexities of aging through honest conversations about perimenopause, post-menopause, and sexual wellness.
- Health Equity and Access: Discussing systemic barriers and inequities in healthcare access and solutions to empower Black women to advocate for their own health.

Our Team and Vision
Led by Dr. Rahman, a board-certified OBGYN, Black Women's Health Podcast is driven by a team of passionate individuals who share the belief that accessible healthcare must go beyond providing medical care. We envision a world where Black women have the knowledge, support, and resources they need to achieve optimal well-being and thrive.
Lack of Hygiene and Incompetence Issues
Some patients have expressed concerns about Dr. Rahman's lack of attention to hygiene and competence. Author Riley Brown gave a 1-star review, stating that she did not change her gloves during an exam and threw something out in the trash, only to return and finish the exam with the same gloves. Author Mercedes F. also gave a 1-star review, citing similar issues, including the doctor taking her medical history on a plain sheet of paper and not sterilizing her tools.
Positive Experiences
However, many patients have had positive experiences with Dr. Rahman. Authors Kyairra Mathies, Kyara Mckoy, Chelsea Jackson, Teri Smith, and Wendi Shep all gave 5-star reviews, praising the doctor's kindness, patience, and professionalism. They appreciated her ability to make them feel comfortable during exams and her willingness to explain everything in detail.
Communication Issues
Some patients have experienced issues with communication from Dr. Rahman's office. Author Gina Fernandes gave a 1-star review after she was left waiting outside the office for an appointment that was cancelled without notice.
