History of Broad & James Auto Care & Towing

Broad & James Auto Care & Towing was founded in 1973 by Wallace Shriner, who opened a Shell service station at the intersection of E. Broad St & James Rd, Columbus, OH. Approximately 20 years ago, Wally passed the reigns to his sons, Jim and Tim Shriner. In 2015, the two brothers, along with their staff of 36, moved the facility from the corner Shell service station to the new 22,000 square feet building at 4301 E 5th Ave. After more than forty years of service, we have remained a family-owned business delivering automotive repair and quality towing service to the people of Columbus and surrounding areas.
