Our Services

We specialize in providing in-home or at-school therapy sessions, using play-based activities to make learning fun and engaging. Our team is led by Sarah Halpern M.S., CCC-SLP, a licensed and board-certified speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience. With expertise in speech-language pathology, Sarah provides a comprehensive approach to therapy and assessment tailored to each individual's needs.

We offer a range of services, including:

• Evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation is conducted to assess an individual's speech and language skills. The evaluation is tailored to the individual's needs and may include standardized tests, a case history, and an individualized plan of care with goals to target specific skills.

• Therapy Sessions: We provide therapy sessions in the comfort of our clients' homes, schools, or daycares. Our Speech Pathologists work closely with parents and caregivers to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific goals and skills.

• Informal Screening: We offer an informal screening service to assess a child's kindergarten readiness and provide a personalized report detailing their communication skills.

• Phone Consultation: We offer a free initial 30-minute consultation to discuss an individual's needs and determine if they would benefit from a full evaluation.

Our Approach

As a Myofunctional Therapy trained speech pathologist, Sarah guides individuals through targeted exercises and interventions to correct challenges such as tongue thrust, articulation errors, and mouth breathing. This therapy not only enhances facial aesthetics but also contributes to improved oral posture and supports overall health.

Our Team

Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our clients and their families. We work closely with other healthcare professionals, including teachers, daycare providers, occupational therapists, neuropsychiatrists/psychologists, dentists, and oral/maxillofacial surgeons.

Pricing

Our pricing varies depending on the location and travel time. We offer the following rates:

• 25/45-minute session in our office: $115/185
• 25/45-minute session at your home and at school with your child: $125/195

Insurance

We do not accept insurance, but we provide every client with a "superbill" invoice to submit to their insurance company. We also provide diagnostic and therapeutic codes to aid in the reimbursement process.
