Dental Technology

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest dental technology, allowing us to diagnose and treat conditions with unparalleled precision. Some of the technologies we utilize include:

  • Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT): This technology provides detailed, three-dimensional images of the teeth, soft tissues, and bone, allowing for more accurate treatment planning and execution.
  • Guided Surgery: Using information gathered from the CBCT scan, we can create custom surgical guides for precise implant placement, ensuring optimal results.
  • 3D Printing: Our in-house 3D printer allows us to create custom surgical guides, models, and appliances, reducing wait times for our patients.

Community Involvement

At Treasure Valley Oral & Facial Surgery, we believe in giving back to our community. We are proud to be involved with local organizations and initiatives, including the Non-Profit Dental Hygiene Club, which aims to provide essential dental care to underserved communities.

How to Choose an Oral Surgeon

When selecting an oral surgeon, it is crucial to consider several factors, including:

  • Education and Training: Ensure that your oral surgeon has completed a comprehensive residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Experience: Look for an oral surgeon with extensive experience in the specific procedure you require.
  • Bedside Manner: Choose an oral surgeon who makes you feel comfortable and confident in their care.

Why Choose an Oral Surgeon?

An oral surgeon is a dental specialist with extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions. From wisdom teeth removal and dental implant placement to facial trauma reconstruction and corrective jaw surgery, oral surgeons are uniquely qualified to manage even the most complex cases.

Dental Implants: A Closer Look

Dental implants are a revolutionary solution for replacing missing teeth. Comprised of three components - the implant post, the abutment, and the restoration - dental implants provide unmatched stability, function, and aesthetics. At Treasure Valley Oral & Facial Surgery, we offer multiple tooth implants, single tooth implants, and All-on-4 dental implants to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Candidacy for Dental Implants

Dental implants may be the right solution for you if you:

  • Are missing one or more teeth
  • Have sufficient jawbone density to support the implant post
  • Are committed to maintaining good oral hygiene
  • Do not have any contraindicating medical conditions

The Dental Implant Procedure

The dental implant procedure typically involves several steps:

1. Consultation and Treatment Planning: During your initial consultation, we will assess your oral health, discuss your goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan.

2. Implant Placement: Using guided surgery, we will carefully place the implant post in your jawbone.

3. Integration: Over the next several months, the implant post will fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration.

4. Restoration: Once the implant post has fully integrated, we will attach the abutment and restoration, completing your new smile.
