At Clay Mates, we have fostered a lifelong love for artistic expression, particularly in the medium of ceramics. This passion has been the driving force behind our business since its inception in 1994. With over 41 years of experience in the ceramic field, our owner has cultivated a rich understanding of the craft, and has acquired numerous certifications along the way. Our mission is to share this knowledge and enthusiasm with others, by providing ceramics classes, paint-your-own pottery workshops, and arts and crafts activities that cater to all skill levels, ages, and abilities.

We strive to create an atmosphere that is both enjoyable and stimulating, where creativity can flourish and self-esteem can be nurtured. With no predefined expectations, our studio encourages individuality and fosters a sense of accomplishment that is sure to inspire confidence.

Services We Offer

*Walk-in Hours*

During our allocated walk-in hours, you are welcome to explore your creative side and design your very own masterpiece. We provide a variety of brushes, paints, stencils, tools, and ideas to help spark your imagination. This unstructured format allows for greater freedom and experimentation, so you can truly express yourself through art.

*Classes*

Our classes, which include both adult evening and children's free drawing lessons (held every Thursday from 6 to 8 pm), offer a more structured environment for learning and growth. In these sessions, you will be provided with guidance, instruction, and ideas when needed. Adult classes are priced at $6.00 per class, plus the cost of the piece you choose to create.

*Parties*

Hosting a party at Clay Mates is a unique and enjoyable experience for all ages. Children can select one item from our kid's wall to paint, and parties include two hours of painting time, access to a party room for food and refreshments, and the option to order pizza. Children can take their projects home on the same day. Parties cost $15.00 per child.

*Clay & Ceramic Events*

Gather your friends, coworkers, or plan a unique date night by joining us for an evening of entertaining art instruction. Our events focus on painting and ceramic projects, allowing you to create something truly unique while potentially discovering a newfound talent. These sessions are priced according to the project you choose.

*School/Camps/Field Trips*

Clay Mates is a popular destination for school groups, Scouts, and summer camps. During our walk-in hours, you are welcome to bring food, snacks, or order pizza for the children to enjoy while they paint. We kindly request that you call in advance to reserve your seats. During walk-in hours, projects are priced as low as $5.00 each.

For your convenience, we offer a Clay Mates To Go Store, where you can purchase a wide variety of ceramic pieces to paint from the comfort of your own home. We also provide water-based acrylics and a large selection of glazes in various colors for you to use in your creations.
