Thank you so much for your interest in my studio. Since starting my career in early 1994, I have had the unique experience of documenting weddings from the East Coast to the West Coast. I am inspired by the emotions that weddings create and what a privilege it is for me to capture those emotions for generations to come. Just as a story unfolds from the beginning to the end, so does your wedding. I have found that every couple's story is an exceptional one, and I would feel honored to be a part of your special day.

My work has been featured in many publications, including Carolina Bride, Wedding Pages, Charlotte Woman, Ocean Drive Magazine (Miami), and The Perfect Wedding Guide. My photos have also been featured on Turner South's "Southern Living Presents." I cover all of my weddings and portraits with a photo-documentary, natural/candid approach, using black & white film, color film, and digital imaging. Including special techniques such as cross-process, infrared, and high speed black & white film. This creates a look suitable for any client's desire for their wedding and portrait photography.

My studio offers a wide range of services to suit any client needs. These services include wedding packages, bridal portraits, family and children portraits, engagements, special events, and any special request you may have. All of our wedding packages include finished 4x6 prints in a special presentation box, DVD, as well as custom prints of your choice. Custom leather albums can be added to all wedding packages and are included in packages one through four. Portraits of any kind can be done either in the studio or on location. They are also available in black & white, color, or both. All of your wedding images are posted online for a period of six months. You, your family members, and friends will all be able to view your wedding images as well as order prints online. This process makes it easy for you and all of your loved ones to relive your special day.

Bio

Tommy McCart has been documenting weddings and people in Charlotte for over 23 years! He approaches each assignment with a fresh and creative eye, to create something truly unique for each of his clients! Specializing in digital and black and white photography. He can create a look that suits any client's desire for their wedding and portrait photography! Tommy's love for photography started over 25 years ago and has not waned since. Following graduation from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Media Arts, Tommy was a photographer in Southern California for two years before returning home to the south. Tommy opened his first studio in historic south end in 2002 and is currently located in South Charlotte at 10027 Gatehouse Court, Charlotte NC 28277. Tommy says that it has always been a privilege and honor to capture the emotions and memories that weddings and portraits create. It is such a special time in his client's lives and he is thrilled to capture those moments for generations to come!
