The Story Behind the Story

Our founder, Malcolm Steiner, was born in Mobile and has a lifelong passion for the city's famous seafood and multicultural restaurants. His family's dairy business, Steiner's Dairy, supplied Milk and dairy products to Mobile's families and restaurants from 1845 to 1959. This experience and his commitment to preserving the history and culture of Mobile's food scene inspired the creation of Old Mobile Restaurants.
