Negative: The architect's poor communication, delays, and unprofessional behavior led to cost overruns and frustration for both reviewers.

Unsatisfactory Experiences with an Architect/Engineer

Disappointing Project Outcomes

Two reviewers, Synergy Team and Clare H., shared their disappointing experiences with an architect/engineer, resulting in a 1-star rating. Both reviewers expressed frustration with the architect's performance, citing issues with communication, timelines, and costs.

Communication Breakdown

In both cases, the reviewers reported poor communication with the architect. Synergy Team stated that the architect was "very short" and eventually stopped responding to calls, forcing them to use an alternate number. Clare H. had to wait three weeks and then chase the architect for a response, only to be quoted an inflated price.

Delays and Cost Overruns

Synergy Team's carport project was plagued by delays and cost overruns. The architect's plans required multiple revisions, each costing time and money. Even after approval, discrepancies in the plans emerged, causing further problems. Clare H. was told to wait three weeks for the architect to become available, only to receive an inflated quote.

Unprofessional Behavior

Both reviewers reported unprofessional behavior from the architect. Synergy Team was told that the architect was "too busy" to answer a question, and Clare H. felt that the architect's pricing was unreasonable.
