At Riverstone Counseling Center, we are dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find the necessary insight, resources, guidance, and confidence to make their own change. We perceive our clients as the experts of their lives, and we are here to help with the "how." We provide support for people's mental and emotional safety as they embark upon the journey towards change. Our mission is to deliver safe, professional, competent, and effective care to the overall mental wellness of our clients.

Our Services
We offer a variety of services for clients, clinicians, and professional teams. Our client services include individual counseling, couple counseling, and family counseling. We also provide services for clinicians and other professionals, including supervision for SC LMFTA, office space for lease, consultations, and collaborations.
Client Services
We provide individuals and families with the following therapy services: individual counseling, couple counseling, and family counseling. Our individual counseling services help individuals grow beyond challenges such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, body image issues, trauma, grief, time management, and job-related stress. Our couple counseling services provide clinical treatment for the many stages of an intimate relationship, including pre-marital counseling, relationship maintenance and repair, separation/divorce counseling, and co-parenting issues. Our family counseling services help families create healthy interactions, heal from traumatic experiences, cope with life-cycle transitions, and face the normal challenges that accompany blended families.
Clinician and Professional Services
We provide supervision for SC LMFT Associates and Supervisor Candidates, professional office space for mental health practitioners, and consultation services for corporate and community organizations. Our supervision services include individual, dyadic, and group supervision for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associates and LMFT Supervisor Candidates seeking full licensure in South Carolina. Our office space is leased to mental health practitioners who are established as an independent entity and are interested in working in a collaborative environment. Our consultation services include collaboration with corporate and community organizations as a subject matter expert, providing mental health-related consultation, workshops, training, speaking engagements, and critical incident debriefing.
Our Team
Our team is led by Taye David Adams, MMFT, LMFT/S, who is a SC licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor. Taye received her BA in Psychology and a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. She provides mental health counseling or relationship coaching to clients, clinical supervision to associate level therapists, and collaboration with other businesses/organizations to promote mental health and wellness within marginalized communities.

Unsatisfactory Experience
