V.K. Knowlton Construction & Utilities, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the San Antonio area for over 60 years. Our story began in 1960 when Virgil Knowlton started the company with just a dump truck and a blade. Since then, we have grown into a premier turnkey site development construction and utility company, committed to doing business with integrity and honesty.

We construct single-family residential developments for both home builders and developers. Our services include underground wet utilities, mass grading, drainage structures, sidewalks, and roadways. We support developments within a 60-mile radius in and around Bexar County and the surrounding tri-county areas.
Commercial Construction
We construct heavy civil commercial developments of various sizes and budgets. Our projects may consist of underground wet utilities, mass grading, drainage structures, sidewalks, and roadways. We complete projects with company-owned equipment and labor force, and we take pride in getting projects done on schedule and on budget.
