Overall Impression
The reviews of Vue Fitzhugh are mixed, with two residents having contrasting experiences. The first reviewer, Darryl Tucker, had a very positive experience, praising the community's grounds, amenities, and staff. On the other hand, the second reviewer, Krystal Howard, was extremely dissatisfied with her neighbors and management, citing loud noise and a leasing agent's careless behavior. The third reviewer, Dawn Ashley Hively, had a negative experience due to maintenance issues and a violent incident involving her door.
The Good
The Vue Fitzhugh community is praised for its beautiful grounds and surrounding neighborhood, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and parks within walking distance. The apartments have a European feel, with granite countertops, wood floors, and marble countertops. The staff, including Tyler, Amy, Alma, Corey, Rosie, Israel, and Odalis, are described as friendly, professional, and detail-oriented.
The Bad
However, the community has some major drawbacks. Krystal Howard's neighbors were extremely noisy, with one being a leasing agent, and despite multiple complaints, the noise continued. Dawn Ashley Hively had 17 work requests ignored, leading to a broken door lock and a feeling of vulnerability, which she believes was intentional. Both reviewers expressed disappointment and frustration with the management's lack of action.
The Ugly
The third reviewer, Dawn Ashley Hively, had a particularly disturbing experience, involving a violent incident where her neighbors attempted to break into her apartment. She believes the management was negligent and is seeking legal action.
