Our Story
Our company has its roots in the John F. Connelly Plumbing and Heating Company, founded by John F. Connelly and his wife Katherine in 1949. The company started with a single location on North Broadway in Springfield, Missouri. Over the years, the company grew and evolved under the leadership of John and later his son Danny. The company relocated to West College Street in 1992 and eventually moved to its current location on National Avenue and East Division Street.
In 2021, Connelly Plumbing, Heating & Air, after 72 years of proud service to Springfield, joined forces with The Waldinger Corporation to form Connelly-Waldinger. This strategic partnership enabled us to expand our range of services, capabilities, and resources, while maintaining our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The Waldinger Corporation, based in Des Moines, Iowa, is a family-owned company with a rich history, now one of the country's premier full-service mechanical, electrical, and sheet metal contractors. Founded by Harry Waldinger in 1906 as Capital City Tin Shop, Waldinger began as a small family operation. Over the years, the company expanded and evolved under the leadership of various family members, establishing itself as one of the largest sheet metal companies in the United States.
