Excellent Contractor, but Limited Communication
The contractor, Vance, has a mixed reputation. On one hand, Jason, a satisfied customer, rates Vance as a 5-star contractor, praising their attention to detail and pleasurable working experience. However, Justin Day, another customer, was extremely dissatisfied, giving Vance a 1-star rating.
Justin's review highlights the importance of effective communication in a business setting. Vance failed to follow up on a quote submission after initially promising a timely delivery. Despite multiple attempts to contact Vance - including texts, voicemails, and office calls - there was no response until Vance eventually called to decline the project, citing an inability to "deal with people counting the days" and implying that Justin's company was too demanding. Justin criticizes Vance's poor communication and professionalism in handling the situation.
On the other hand, Eric Lutz, another satisfied customer, praises Vance's project management skills on a challenging renovation project, highlighting their positive responsiveness, punctuality, quality, professionalism, and value for services.
