At Wild Orchid Salon, we are passionate about providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. Our journey began Several years ago, when our founders, Danielle and Jared, met while working in an upscale Austin hair salon. After completing their cosmetology education, Daniels started her career at Jose Luis Salon, and Jared began working as a Vice President at Grande Communications. Their paths converged at the salon, where they eventually got to know each other.
Our Story
Danielle and Jared's relationship blossomed, and they were married in 2009. After becoming parents to their daughter, Ella, they faced a personal challenge when Jared's mother, Vicki, passed away after a battle with breast cancer. This eventous life experience instilled a sense of purpose in them. In 2011, Jared planted the idea of opening their own salon, which they eventually achieved in February 2012. The original owner of the salon had plans to retire, allowing the couple to take over the lease of a 695 square-foot space on West 3rd Street in Downtown Austin.
