Our Story
In 1975, a group of local investors came together with a vision to bring a taste of Spain and Portugal to the Newark community. After decades of growth and development, Chateau of Spain was born. In 1989, Bill Oliveira and Joe Conceicao purchased the restaurant, bringing their extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Today, under the ownership of the Oliveira family, we continue to provide an unparalleled dining experience for our customers.
