Durham Community Preschool (DCP) is a nonprofit, secular preschool that is dedicated to providing high-quality, nurturing care and education for children aged 2 to 5 years. Established in 2009, we are a community-based preschool that is committed to delivering a warm and enriching environment for our young students.

Our Programs

Our preschool offers a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of each child. Our Outdoor Preschool Mini's class is designed for children aged 2 years, while our Outdoor Preschool class caters to children aged 3 to 5 years. Our programs are designed to foster a love of learning, creativity, and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our History

Founded in 2009, DCP has a rich history of providing high-quality early childhood education to the Durham community. With a strong focus on community engagement and inclusivity, we have been honored to serve the Durham community for nearly three decades.

Admissions

We welcome applications from new families throughout the year. Our admissions process typically begins in January, with a priority enrollment deadline for currently enrolled families. We also accept applications for any openings in our classes and welcome new students throughout the year.
