Our Story

At Arrow Indian Contractors, we've been building the American Southwest for more than a quarter century. Our story is one of dedication, hard work, and commitment to our community. Our founders, Thom and Sheila Curleyhair, established our company in 1992 with a vision of serving Native American communities and federal agencies. Over the years, we've grown into a superior construction company, known for our expertise, quality, and customer service.

Our Services

As a self-performing contractor, we take pride in delivering exceptional results in vertical and civil construction projects. Our services include design-build projects, commercial and industrial building construction, earthwork, heavy mass grading, fine finish grade work, street and road construction, parking lots, and concrete and asphalt paving. We use a significant portion of our own forces to self-perform a significant portion of the project, allowing us to provide significant cost savings to our clients.

Our Expertise

Our team of skilled and experienced professionals is dedicated to ensuring the success of every project. From engineers to architects to surveyors, we have the expertise to deliver exceptional results. We understand that each project is unique, and we tailor our approach to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Sustainability and Safety

At Arrow Indian Contractors, we place great importance on protecting our team and the environment. We consider our team and the environment as two of our most precious assets. The health and safety of people, land, water, and air are treasures we diligently work to protect. We often exceed minimum federal and state requirements in these areas.

Our Philosophy

At Arrow Indian Contractors, we believe in the wise words of Theodore Roosevelt: "Conservation means development as much as it does protection." We strive to find balance between development and protection, ensuring that our projects benefit both people and the environment.

Our Team

We are proud to be a family-owned and operated business, founded by Thom and Sheila Curleyhair. After Thom's passing in 2022, Sheila took over as the new President of Arrow Indian Contractors. Our leadership team is committed to carrying on the legacy of our founders, with a clear vision of establishing an innovative general contracting company dedicated to serving Native American communities and federal agencies.
