Our Story
Formerly known as A-1 Barber and Hair Salon, we rebranded as Rumors Hair Studio in September 2012. We brought on board seasoned, well-trained, and versatile stylists and barbers to accent our already wonderful reputation. Over the years, we have expanded our family of expert hair stylists and grown in this wonderful community.

Our stylists provide a wide range of services, from trendy haircuts to multi-tonal color, wavy and textured styling, and facial waxing. Our team of experts offers personalized attention and provides services tailored to your unique style. From block color techniques to classic high and tight, to old-fashioned shaves, we offer a variety of styles to choose from.

- Cindy Harris: Owner of Rumors Hair Studio, Cindy has been a hair stylist for over 20 years. She strives to make sure each and every client is happy with their experience and takes pride in knowing they're more than satisfied when they leave our door.
- Karen Hill: With almost 30 years of experience, Karen enjoys all aspects of the hair industry, but particularly enjoys cuts, color, and highlights. Karen enjoys interacting with clients and finding the look they want is what makes hairdressing not just a job, but an adventure.
- Martin Sanderson: Martin joined Rumors Hair Studio in July 2013 and considers many factors when working with clients, including their professional, social, and wellness routines. Martin's goal is to create a natural, beautiful look that fits their personal style.
- Stevie Locklear: A cosmetology professional with over 30 years of experience, Stevie is a licensed Cosmetology Educator and practicing Cosmetologist. He is skilled in all facets of the industry and focuses on the customer experience.
- Wanda Tripp: With over 36 years of experience in the hair industry, Wanda has a variety of skills and enjoys working with all types of hair textures. She evaluates each client's past hair maintenance, hair care, and desired look.

Services and Experience
The majority of customers at this salon had a positive experience, praising their stylists for their skills and attention to detail. Stevie was specifically mentioned as a "gem" who provided excellent service, teaching customers how to style their hair.
Cleanliness and Ambiance
However, not all aspects of the salon were praised. Laylo W. mentioned that the shop was "pretty filthy, very dusty and outdated", which may have been a deterrent for them to return.
