Consistency and Quality of Care
Some reviewers praised the practice for its consistency and quality of care, citing positive experiences with therapists and flexibility in scheduling sessions. For example, Anna LaPlaca mentioned that she worked with a therapist from the practice for almost two years and had a very positive experience. Rachel Park praised her therapist for being flexible with her schedule and understanding her busy life. Camden Brown highlighted the therapeutic approach of Ashley Bethea, saying that she always felt comfortable sharing her thoughts and emotions.
On the other hand, some reviewers had negative experiences with the practice. Jean Ortiz had a terrible experience with her therapist, who recommended rescheduling her intake due to technical issues. When she cancelled the session, she received an email stating that she had to pay $90 or be removed from the roster. She felt bullied and unheard, and then received a condescending call from the therapist. Sarah Cassidy had a positive experience initially, but then discovered that her therapist shared her personal email address with someone she did not know after their therapeutic relationship ended. Poddo Sucks had a disastrous experience with Joe Walz, saying that he used unqualified techniques and "genuinely offered a supportive and safe environment."
Policies and Communication
Revelers expressed frustration with the practice's policies and communication. Jean Ortiz felt that the practice had "secret" policies that were not clearly communicated, leading to misunderstandings and frustration. Camden Brown's therapist, Ashley Bethea, seemed to have clear policies and was able to communicate them effectively.
