Integrity. Experience. Proven Results.

For over 50 years, Boise Cooperative Preschool (BCP) has been a leading play-based preschool in the Treasure Valley. Our preschool is located in the Boise Bench neighborhood and has been a vital part of the community since 2002. At BCP, we value the importance of all aspects of human development - social, emotional, creative, physical, cognitive, and verbal. We believe that learning should be a fun and engaging experience, and our play-based approach allows children to explore, create, experiment, practice, socialize, and learn to value and respect individuality.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is centered around the idea that children learn best through play. Our teachers and parents work together to create a classroom community where children are nurtured and supported in their exploration and discoveries. By allowing children to take an active role in their learning, we foster a sense of curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Our play-based model is designed to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth, while also fostering a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Our Staff

Our staff is comprised of talented and dedicated teachers who are passionate about early childhood education. Our teachers have extensive experience working with young children and are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes learning and growth. Our programs are designed to be engaging, interactive, and fun, and are tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of each child. Our programs include a range of activities, such as arts and crafts, music and movement, and science and discovery.

Our Parents

Our parents are an integral part of our preschool community. As a cooperative preschool, we rely on the support of our parents to help us run the school. This includes volunteering in the classroom, serving on committees, and participating in school events. By working together, we are able to create a nurturing and supportive environment that is truly special.

Our History

Boise Cooperative Preschool has a rich history dating back to 1973. Our school was founded on the principles of play-based learning and community involvement. For over 50 years, we have been dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood education to children from our community.
