Empowering Children, Enriching Families
The Cooperative Preschool is a unique and special place where children, parents, and teachers come together to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters creativity, community, and learning. Since 1969, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education to children ages 3-5, and we are proud to be one of the first secular preschools in Boise.
Our Story
Our school was founded on the principles of collaboration and community, with parents and teachers working together to create a rich and engaging educational experience for our students. Over the years, we have moved locations, achieved NAEYC accreditation, and grown our program to include Parent/Child classes, Preschool classes, and more. But through it all, our commitment to children, their play, and their learning has remained at the heart of everything we do.
Our Philosophy
We believe that children are capable and curious learners who deserve a supportive and stimulating environment that sparks their imagination and creativity. Our teachers are dedicated professionals who work closely with parents to create a curriculum that is both educationally sound and nurturing. We focus on play, creativity, community, and learning to give children the opportunity to become independent, confident, and curious learners.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide each child with an educationally sound, nurturing, and stimulating environment where parents work with teachers to help the student develop the skills and qualities necessary to become an independent, confident person who can create and sustain satisfying relationships both in and outside the classroom.
Services
We offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the needs of young children and their families. Our Preschool classes are designed for children ages 3-5, and are led by experienced and trained teachers who create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters creativity, imagination, and learning. Our Parent/Child classes are designed for children ages 1-3, and provide a unique opportunity for parents to engage with their children in a fun and educational setting. We also offer enrollment opportunities, waitlist information, and tuition and fee information to support our families.
