At Beth El Preschool (BEPS), we provide a warm and nurturing environment where young children can begin to discover themselves and the world around them. Our school is a cooperative Jewish preschool located in Bethesda, Maryland, and is dedicated to providing a playful and engaging early childhood education to children from 2 to 5 years old.
Our Philosophy
At BEPS, we believe that play is at the heart of learning and that young children learn best by doing. Our experienced and caring teachers design a curriculum that encourages children to explore, create, and learn through hands-on activities. Our Jewish-based curriculum is designed to nurture and support our preschoolers' growth and development, blending secular and Judaic studies to foster a love of learning and being Jewish.
Cooperative School
Parent involvement is an essential part of our school's culture, and we offer many opportunities for parents to contribute their time and creativity. Our parents play an integral role in their child's education, serving on our Parent Board, participating on committees, and assisting in the classrooms. This cooperative approach allows parents to be involved in their child's educational journey and fosters a sense of community among our families.

School Hours and Office Hours
Our school hours are from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm, with a lunch bunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Our office hours are from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. We encourage visitors to schedule a tour to learn more about our school and program.
Admissions
We believe that every child deserves a high-quality education, and we welcome children of all backgrounds. Our admissions process is designed to ensure that every child is ready for our preschool program. We offer a variety of programs, including summer programs and special events, to support our families' needs.
