Outdoor Nursery School, established in 1933, is a licensed early childhood education center in Chevy Chase, MD. We offer play-based learning opportunities for children aged 2 to 4 1/2 years old. Our teachers are certified by the Maryland State Department of Education and provide a nurturing environment that encourages creative and constructive activities, problem-solving, and active learning. Our 2 1/2 acres of woodland play spaces, known as "In the Woods, " offer endless opportunities for children to explore, experiment, and develop fundamental concepts in language, reading, mathematics, science, and social studies.
