Our Story
Our founder, Lori Dodd, is a physical therapist with over 35 years of experience. She opened Power Over Parkinson's Fitness in 2017, driven by her passion to help people with Parkinson's disease improve their mobility, balance, and overall well-being. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized exercise programs that cater to the unique needs of each individual.
Our Services
We offer a variety of exercise classes and programs specifically designed for individuals living with Parkinson's disease. Our classes are tailored to accommodate different fitness levels and mobility needs. From sitting PWR!Moves to Rock Steady Boxing, and mindful movement classes, we strive to provide a comprehensive exercise program that addresses the physical, emotional, and cognitive aspects of Parkinson's.
Our classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and challenging, with a focus on improving motor symptoms such as balance, coordination, flexibility, and posture, as well as non-motor symptoms like fatigue, sleep, constipation, and depression.
