At Carlile Coatsworth Architects, we are a mid-sized architecture firm based in Irvine, California, with a satellite office in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1989 by two Cal Poly SLO graduates, we have over 30 years of experience in providing innovative and effective design solutions to our clients. Our Story
Our journey began in the late 1970s when Jeff Carlile and Cal Coatsworth met in architecture classes at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Their shared passion for architectural design led them to start their own architecture firm a decade later. With a focus on the client's specific needs, we have grown into a successful architecture firm with over 20 employees, including five licensed architects.
