About My Background
As someone who has personally struggled with chronic pain and injury due to my genetic collagen disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, I understand the importance of finding effective and sustainable solutions for pain relief and wellness. My extensive education and training in acupuncture, massage therapy, and medical qigong have equipped me with a deep understanding of the human body and a passion for helping others achieve optimal health.
What to Expect
Before your appointment, I will ask if you would like to fill out your intake paperwork in the office or at home. If you prefer to do it at home, I will send you a link to a PDF that you can fill out and print. Please refrain from wearing perfume and other fragrances during appointments, as we strive to create a comfortable environment for all patients.
Office Location
Living Tree Acupuncture is located at 405 Kains Avenue, Suite 204, Albany, CA 94706. We are conveniently situated near El Cerrito Plaza BART and AC Transit lines 71 & 72, as well as the Ohlone Bikeway. Ample street and lot parking are available, and our office is wheelchair accessible by ramp and lift.
Payment and Insurance
We accept cash, check, Visa, MC, Amex, or Discover. Super bills can be provided upon request for those seeking reimbursement from their insurance. We do not currently offer direct billing through insurance.
Scheduling
Please note that, as of February 2024, I will be embarking on a mentorship program with Dr. Yvonne Farrell, studying Eight Extraordinary Vessels (8EV) and Secondary Vessels (SV) treatments. This exciting new development will allow me to bring even more comprehensive and effective treatments to my patients.
