Our History
MMT was founded in 1983 by Thomas (Tom) C. Shelton, Ph. D., P.E. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include laboratory, machine shop, and laydown yard facilities. Our growth has been driven by our expertise in providing technical and engineering services to various industries, including petrochemical, pipeline, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, marine, and consumer products.
Our Capabilities

Our materials testing capabilities include destructive and non-destructive testing, materials selection, materials performance, failure analysis, and more. Our inspection and lab facilities are available as a third-party venue for independent lab services and inspections.
