Led by our experienced and knowledgeable physician, William Iyamu, MD, Ph. Weight Loss: According to the Department of Health and Human Services, two in three adults are considered overweight or obese. We offer weight loss services designed to help our patients achieve a healthy weight and maintain it over time.
Dermatology: Chronic skin conditions like acne and psoriasis can leave you feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. We provide comprehensive dermatology services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic skin conditions.

Our Location

DeArk Medical Center is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, at 3719 Latrobe Dr., Suite 840, Charlotte, NC 28211. Our office is conveniently located near major highways and public transportation, making it easy for our patients to access our services. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Meet Our Physician

William Iyamu, MD, Ph. D., is a board-certified internal medicine doctor with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. He received his medical training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, KS, and completed his Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency Training at Meharry Medical College, Nashville, TN, and served as Chief Medical Resident at Meharry Medical College for one year. He then received additional training in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR. After practicing as a Hospitalist at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, AR, he moved to Charlotte, NC, to join the medical staff of Atrium Health.
