Our History
Baywood was founded in 2000 by Dorothy Muffett, who left a V.P. position in a consumer products company to begin a second career more focused on people. From the beginning, Dorothy has said that our objectives as a company are to have Happy Clients, Happy Clients' Families, and Happy Employees. Fulfilling these objectives-each and every day-is our only focus.
Our Services
We offer flexible at-home care for seniors, including:
- Hourly care: Caregivers visit for a set number of hours to provide support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
- 24-hour "live-in" care: Caregivers stay with our clients 24 hours a day to provide continuous care and support.
- Overnight care: Caregivers stay overnight to provide support and companionship during the evening and nighttime hours.
Our experienced caregivers have extensive experience in Alzheimer's care/dementia care/memory care. We understand the unique challenges that come with caring for loved ones with these conditions and are committed to providing the highest level of care and support.
Areas We Serve
We serve the greater Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area, and much of south central and southwestern Minnesota, including Albert Lea.
