Meet Dr. Matthew Wingert
Dr. Wingert has been a veterinarian at Independence Animal Hospital since 1995. A graduate of Kansas State University, Dr. Wingert has developed a special interest in orthopedics and reproduction. In his free time, Dr. Wingert enjoys playing golf and basketball.
Meet Dr. Roger Becker
Dr. Becker has been in the veterinary medicine field for over thirty years. A graduate of Kansas State University, Dr. Becker has a major interest in surgical cases. In his free time, Dr. Becker enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, playing tennis, and golf.
Meet Dr. JB Scott
Dr. Scott grew up on a farm in Maryville, Missouri, and graduated from Maryville High School in 1984. He began working at the local veterinary clinic in high school and went on to attend the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1991. Dr. Scott joined the team at Independence Animal Hospital in the Spring of 2018. He enjoys hunting with his bird dog, Rusty, as well as fishing, golfing, and cooking.
Meet Dr. Skyler West
Dr. West is a recent graduate of Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri and his Master of Science in Nutrition at the University of Arkansas. Dr. West has been a familiar face at Independence Animal Hospital since 2011, observing veterinary practice in action. His ability to explore special interests in general surgery, orthopedics, and chiropractic care is just one of the many skills he brings to our team.
